Alzheimer's Awareness

Over 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million. In 2024, Alzheimer’s disease was officially listed as the fifth-leading cause of death among people age 65 and older. Close family members are typically the first to notice these early signs of memory issues or cognitive problems, but they often get dismissed as normal aging.

While there is no cure for Alzheimer’s currently, there are new treatments that can slow the progression of the disease. These treatments are only available to individuals in the earliest stages of the disease – making early detection and diagnosis critically important. Early detection can help ensure a loved one receives the best care, support, and access to treatment.
