“Family fire refers to a shooting caused by someone having access to a gun from the home when they shouldn’t have it. Access to an unsecured firearm in the home increases the risk of injury or death. Gun owners can protect their families and loved ones from preventable tragedies of unintentional shootings, gun suicide, and intentional shootings. Air these new PSAs to encourage gun owners to protect themselves and their loved ones by storing guns securely – locked, unloaded, and away from ammunition.
